It was late in November, but the trees in the Historic District of Maryland's capital were, to my surprise and delight, still ablaze in golds and pastel greens, and I of course did lots of shooting in color to celebrate that perfect photo-enticing autumn afternoon.
But in this little fish-eye frolic, I decided to let their forms and textures, as well as the fence and the Maryland State Office Building invoke a playful fantasy.
