Oil on linen panel mounted in float frame

In this work I reference both nature and a more urban environment as expressed through the geometric elements that in turn create a more claustrophobic space.
Like the miracle of a dandelion that pokes out from a crack in a city sidewalk, this work expresses a range of imaginary 'flowers' on display. In this work, I am also responding to
the color, weave and texture of the linen surface.
